MISSION STATEMENT

grainbag On-Line Gallery has been established in order to provide an attractive and affordable forum to display and market art. By developing a global community of artists we are able to introduce art lovers to artists whom they otherwise might not be acquainted. By pooling the collective audience of each individual artist as well as that of the gallery itself we hope to open the world of art to the world at large.

TRANSACTIONS

Inquiries about the work exhibited should be made to the gallery via email. Purchases can be made directly from this site using the PayPal payment system. Visa and MasterCard are accepted. All tender will be retained by the gallery until the buyer has confirmed receipt of and satisfaction with the given piece. Should a piece prove unsatisfactory, it is to be returned within twenty-eight days of its arrival for a full refund. Refunds will be made when the artist has acknowledged receipt of the returned item. Returns should be sent COD to the artist. All shipments should be insured and sent by certified mail. Receipts must be retained by all parties. Grainbag does not assume any responsibility for lost or damaged packages. In the event that an artist is unable to produce the agreed upon piece, the gallery will refund payment immediately

OPERATIONS

grainbag assumes the right to advertise featured artists, new works by hosted artists or the gallery itself through limited reproduction of any images found on the site. All images displayed on this site are the implied copyright of the individual artists or this gallery. Reproduction of any of the images exhibited on this site is prohibited. grainbag On-Line Gallery's policies are subject to change. Hosted artists will be notified of any changes in policy seven days prior to enactment. All sales are subject to the policies in effect at the time of sale. The gallery's policies should be reviewed at the time of purchase. Because grainbag On-Line Gallery is a digital setting which does not warehouse the work exhibited, shipping and handling expenses are assumed by the artist.

SUBMISSIONS

grainbag On-Line Gallery is a digital setting. As such, we require all submissions be provided in a digital jpeg format through the submission page established by this site. All of the requested information is required in order for the gallery to exhibit a given artist's work. A short profile is optional, but encouraged. Profiles can be submitted via e-mail.

The curators reserve the right to make alterations to the images (eliminating background clutter, unnecessary borders and/or the size of the image) submitted for the purpose of presentation. The overall integrity of the image will be preserved to the best of our ability. Poor quality digital images will be rejected regardless of the works merit. The curators will make the ultimate decision as to what pieces will be displayed.

Submissions are to be digital only. The original piece is to be retained by the artist or an affiliate thereof. grainbag allows and encourages simultaneous submissions.
