From the project web site: "Walking Stick Rocket is a large scale public sculpture made from large wooden shapes once used as patterns for casting heavy machine parts. The wooden shapes that form the body of the beast are attached using a variety of custom metal fittings and braces. This 20' tall, four-legged creature is whimsical, yet a sobering reminder of our industrial past."
